Born in the vibrant landscapes of Liberia, Mags moved to Sacramento, California, at a young age. Her early exposure to diverse cultures instilled a deep appreciation for individuality, a value she carries into her work today.
At 17, she moved to Houston for college, attending the esteemed Texas Southern University. It was here that she earned her BA in communications and fell head over heels in love with the city. Houston became her new home, where she would later make her mark in the beauty industry.
Early Life and Education
Like many successful hairstylists, Mags' passion for hair began at an early age. From styling Barbie's hair to doing hair for friends and family, she was a natural. After 17 years and counting in the industry, Mags has honed her craft to perfection.
She received her training at the prestigious Loreal Professional Academy in New York, specializing as a Houston hair color specialist. With a flair for blowouts, color, and luxury extensions, Mags has cultivated a unique style that sets her apart.

Mags' talent has led her to work on sets with Warner Bros Studios shows like "The Big Bang Theory" and events like Comic-Con. She has also worked for Amazon Studios at the Academy of Country Music Awards. Her skills have seen her styling on the runways of New York Fashion Week and as a sought-after bridal hair stylist and artist.
In recognition of her contributions, Mags was honored as one of the 40 under 40 influential people to watch in the Houston beauty industry.

Entrepreneurship and Education
Not just content with personal success, Mags has used her expertise to educate others. She owned and operated FAB Salon and worked as a Hair Educator for Farouk Systems and IndiqueHair Extensions. Amidst the pandemic, she launched a series of hair education classes to help other stylists build profitable beauty businesses.

In 2018, Mags began creating content, educating followers about hair, fashion, and lifestyle. Always authentic and real, she uses her platform to inspire young women to dream big, prioritize their mental health, and overcome adversity.
When not transforming clients at her salon, Mags loves working out, fashion blogging, brunching, and engaging in deep conversations about life. She is a seeker and student of life, deeply family-oriented, and passionate about meeting new people and growing her business.
